What are these playing doing by sleeping on the ground where they are supposed to be playing the game ? This is a picture of a funny incident that took place in the cricket game between India and Australia in New Delhi,India. Don’t mistake the players and the umpires to be lazy and sleeping on the field. They are lying down on the ground because of the intervention of the bees in the ground that stopped the match for a small period of time. The players and the umpires had to be patient till the bees cleared the field and made it a spot for playing. The players were stunned first by the entry of the bees but they could do nothing to it as the animal cannot be disposed that easily from a place. The match continued after about ten minutes of time and after that the players from both the team and the umpires where seen laughing over the incident which is a bit funny.

The Indian chess superstar Viswanathan Anand retained the World Title in beating Russian legend Vladimir Kramnik in a twelve match playoff which Viswanathan Anand won 6.5-4.5 with a game to spare in hand. Vladimir Kramnik was not in good form though he had many advantages like selecting the venue for the event, he had got a number of sponsors and so he need not worry about the money for the tournament. inspite of all these advantages Vladimir Kramnik was not in good touch and even his die hard fans were disappointed with his display against Viswanathan Anand as he was no match for the World Champion. Viswanathan Anand displayed great character and discipline in his game as he took a great lead in the first half of the tournament and the title was almost decided then itself. In the eleventh round match that took place yesterday Anand managed a draw easily which was enough for him to win the title in just 24 moves. Anand played the game with white pieces and he made the Sicilian defense and it earned a draw for him and eventually the title which is valued as the most prestigious title in the sport of chess. Both Anand and Kramnik agreed that the 12 to 14-game match was the most ideal way of deciding a World champion.

David Beckham has decided to move to the Italian side Milan on loan in the winter transfer window that is due to come in a couple of months. This was a move totally unexpected by the sporting world as the player is the highest paid sports person in America and also there are a number of players in the Italian side and hence they did not need extra power to add to the team. Beckham has been playing less football right when he left Real Madrid for the high paying L.A.Galaxy as the number of matches in the American league is very less compared to the matches in the European nations. Tottenham has been one of the teams that have been having some respect and decent amount of fans in the Premiership for the last couple of years. But the situation at the city is very worse as they are finding it very hard to find the rhythm here with the absence of the top players of the previous seasons. They haven’t managed to win even a single match this season and they are at the bottom of the table with just two points. This is well worse of what was expected of the team. Pavyluchenko has admitted that the level of standard and the pace of the game in England is way faster than what he has played so far and so he has asked the fans for some time so that he can cope up with the pace of the game here. It is hard time that Tottenham does some thing with their coach and players else they would be seeing their team relegated at the end of the season. It is expected that by the end of October if there is no improvement the coach of the team will be sacked and there will be a replacement for him.

Sourav Ganguly became the first of the senior players in the Indian cricket team to announce retirement from International Cricket following the continuous rejection of the player from the national squad in the last couple of months. Most of them were expecting him to play till the next World Cup which is to come next year. Sourav Ganguly accused the selection committee for his decision and he said that he cannot face any more humiliation. He said that “Some people change their hair style more than they score” and he said that why is it that he alone is being humiliated to this much extent while the other players are free to be in the team.
